Illustration and Design When in college, I studied Illustration and Design, and to this day create images for print and products for many types of clients. My illustration and design work is inspired by retro and vintage print ads. With a passion for cartooning, and character design, most of my work includes a combination of type and characters and has a very retro and vintage feel to it. I have had my illustration work featured on the popular website Illustration MundoDoodlers Anonymous, and Society 6, along with popular blogs and websites in the Illustration and Design world.

Printmaking In 2004 I started to work for a screen  printing business  in Marin County. There I run the print production, and art department. I often print small runs of my own work along with the daily print production that we have at the shop. I also create images for many clients and their custom projects. Please contact me regarding any commission works that you may want me to do for you!

Hand Lettering and Sign Painting For years I have loved to hand paint letters and signs, and have painted many storefront buildings, murals, windows and hand crafted wood signs. I have also painted a few boat transoms, and find my inspiration from all hand painted signs (originally the craft of all signage before the introduction to vinyl cut letters). In 2010 I started Nifty Sign Co. with my dear friend Shawn Whisenant who passed away tragically in March of 2014. Now working by myself, I am doing many custom signs for Bay Area businesses. I have had several shows around the country featuring my hand lettered pieces, and installations.

Fine Art I enjoy creating artwork that is usually made up of reclaimed wood and painted patterns inspired by folk art. Much of my work tends to be installations for galleries, stores, and  peoples homes. Most of the wood is found and often used shipping pallets and scrap wood. I have shown my work all over the San Francisco Bay Area including the Yerba Buena Center for the arts, Japan, Australia, and the UK.
